What is Frontcontrol-Wormer?

Intestinal worms are an invisible but very real threat to your cat's health. Their presence can lead to a wide range of problems, from digestive problems to unexplained weight loss, nutritional deficiencies and a general weakening of the body. Fortunately, with Frontcontrol-Wormer, you have an effective, easy-to-administer solution to protect your pet.

This deworming tablet targets both tapeworms (echinococci, dipylidiums, taenias) and roundworms (toxocara cati, toxascaris leonina), guaranteeing complete protection against these common intestinal parasites in cats. It works by neutralizing and eliminating these pests, ensuring optimal intestinal health for your companion.

Intestinal worms are a serious threat to a cat's health. Infestation can lead to frequent digestive problems, bloating, loss of appetite, anemia, recurrent vomiting, excessive fatigue and a dull, lifeless coat. In severe cases, worms can lead to intestinal obstruction, requiring emergency veterinary intervention.

Frontcontrol-Wormer acts specifically to paralyze and neutralize intestinal worms, thanks to its powerful active ingredients. Pyrantel and praziquantel block the parasites' nervous system, immobilizing them and facilitating their natural expulsion through the intestinal tract. This approach guarantees rapid, effective elimination of both adult and larval worms.

Regular use of this dewormer is recommended by vets to ensure lasting protection. Kittens should be treated from 6 weeks of age, and then on a monthly basis until 6 months of age. Thereafter, administration every three months guarantees ongoing protection and considerably reduces the risk of reinfestation.

Nursing cats can use this product in complete safety. Treating the mother limits the transmission of parasites to kittens via breastfeeding. This feature makes Frontcontrol-Wormer an ideal choice for overall household protection, especially if several cats are living in the same environment.

It's also important to note that some intestinal parasites are transmissible to humans (zoonoses). Regular deworming considerably reduces the risk of contamination, and protects the health of household members, especially young children and immunocompromised people.

For optimum protection, we recommend combining Frontcontrol-Wormer with KRKA Anthelmin Versatile Dewormer for Cats 2 tablets, which targets a broader spectrum of intestinal parasites for enhanced prevention.
