What is Vectra Felis used for?
As well as causing itching and irritation, fleas can transmit diseases and parasites such as Dipylidium to your cat. Some sensitive felines even develop flea bite allergic dermatitis (FAD), causing intense pruritus and skin inflammation. So it's crucial to protect your four-legged friend with an effective, long-lasting treatment.
Thanks to its innovative formula, Vectra Felis anti-parasite offers complete protection against fleas and prevents their proliferation in the environment. Its dual effect not only eliminates adult fleas, but also inhibits the development of eggs, larvae and pupae. By directly combating all forms of the flea life cycle, it guarantees a healthier home and lasting peace of mind.
Vectra Felis is based on two powerful active ingredients: dinotefuran, a fast-acting contact insecticide, and pyriproxyfen, a growth regulator that prevents the development of larvae. These substances ensure immediate and prolonged efficacy: fleas are eliminated in just 2 hours after application, and protection lasts up to a month for your cat and three months for the environment.
The unique applicator makes administration easy, even for cats with long or dense hair. Its rounded tip ensures safe application by accessing the skin directly, without risk of injury or discomfort for the animal.
In addition to offering optimum protection, Vectra Felis limits the risk of recurrent infestation by blocking flea multiplication. It is therefore an indispensable solution for any owner concerned about the well-being of his cat and the health of his household.
The rapid action of Vectra Felis prevents severe infestations by stopping the proliferation of parasites before they can reproduce. It is recommended for households with several animals, to avoid cross-contamination. Its residual effect guarantees long-lasting protection, without the need for frequent treatments.
For even greater protection against ticks and other external parasites, we recommend combining Vectra Felis with ZeroBugs Pet Anti-Tic and Anti-Fleaelectronic repellent, an innovative ultrasonic solution.
How to use this flea repellent for cats?
Your cat can be standing or in a comfortable position to facilitate application. Spread the hair at the base of the head to expose the skin. Apply Vectra Felis slowly in one or more dots, keeping the applicator in contact with the skin. Be sure to empty the pipette completely and avoid applying to the hair.
A single application guarantees protection against fleas for one month, and prevents their development in the cat's environment for three months. The frequency of reapplication should be assessed by a veterinarian according to the cat's level of exposure to parasites.
