What is Vetramil Honey & Essential Oils Healing Ointment 30g used for?

Vetramil Healing Ointment is a natural product specially designed to promote healing of mammalian and bird skin. Its formula combines medical-grade honey, rich in antioxidants and with high enzymatic activity, with essential oils with antimicrobial and soothing properties. Together, these ingredients create an optimal skin environment that accelerates the healing process.

When applied, the ointment forms a non-adherent protective barrier that maintains a moist environment while preventing bacterial proliferation. Honey, with its high sugar content, makes the environment unfavorable to bacteria and helps repair damaged skin. What's more, its antioxidant properties soothe irritated skin, reducing feelings of discomfort.

Essential oils of lavender, niaouli, basil, patchouli and thyme provide a double action: they naturally repel insects and limit wound licking thanks to their bitter taste. This unique combination helps to preserve the affected area, facilitating rapid, uncomplicated healing.

This product is distinguished by the purity of its honey, which is sterilized and free from pesticide or antibiotic residues, guaranteeing safe application for all animals, whether dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents or birds. Its gentle, natural formula makes it ideal for treating minor wounds, scratches, chapping and skin irritations.

Finally, thanks to its controlled pH, Vetramil Healing Ointment promotes an acidic environment that stimulates every stage of the healing process, from cell repair to tissue regeneration. This unique feature helps reduce the risk of infection while accelerating skin recovery.

To complement the benefits of Vetramil Pommade, we also recommend Beaphar Derma+ Pommade Pour Plaies Tous Animaux. Combining honey, turmeric and aloe vera, this ointment helps repair superficial wounds, protect fragile skin and soothe insect bites, providing complete, natural care for your pet.
