What is HYLO CONFORT® Plus used for?

Dry eye is a common condition that can significantly affect quality of life. It manifests as persistent irritation, burning and stinging sensations, or the sensation of a foreign body in the eye. In the most severe cases, it can even lead to corneal damage. HYLO CONFORT® Plus is a sterile ophthalmic solution designed to provide intense, prolonged hydration for eyes suffering from severe, chronic dryness.

Thanks to its high viscosity, this eye drop forms a stable moisturizing film on the surface of the eye. Unlike conventional artificial tears, HYLO CONFORT® Plus stays in place longer, guaranteeing optimal lubrication without causing blurred vision. This makes it an ideal solution for those who experience persistent dry eye and need effective relief.

One of the key elements of this eye drop is its high-quality hyaluronic acid. At a concentration of 0.2%, it ensures deep hydration and promotes regeneration of eye tissue. This active ingredient, naturally present in the body, stabilizes the tear film and provides lasting relief from irritation.

The patented COMOD® system guarantees safe, convenient use. It enables the solution to be applied evenly, without introducing air or risking contamination. What's more, HYLO CONFORT® Plus is free from preservatives and phosphates, avoiding the intolerance reactions and crystalline deposits on the cornea often associated with eye drops containing these substances.

Regular use helps prevent irritation and reduce eye discomfort over the long term. It is particularly recommended after ophthalmic surgery or in cases of persistent dry eye symptoms. Its gentle formula makes it compatible with contact lenses, with no risk of deterioration.

For optimum comfort, it can be combined with other suitable ophthalmic care products. If you suffer from chronic dry eye, HYLO CONFORT® Plus is an essential solution for maintaining continuous, effective hydration of your eyes.

How do I use this ophthalmic emulsion?

For optimum effectiveness, we recommend instilling 1 drop in each eye, 3 times a day. In the event of more intense dry eyes, you can increase the frequency of applications.

Remove cap before use.
Before using for the first time, press the bottom of the bottle several times until the first drop appears.
Tilt head back slightly and gently lower lower eyelid with one hand.
With the other hand, hold the bottle upright and squeeze rapidly to deliver a drop into the eye.
Gently close the eye to distribute the liquid evenly.
Carefully replace cap after each use.

Precautions for use :

  • When used in conjunction with another eye drop, observe a 30-minute interval between applications.
  • HYLO CONFORT® Plus should be applied last if an ophthalmic ointment is used.
  • To avoid contamination, do not touch the tip of the bottle with your fingers or any other surface.
  • In the event of unusual reactions (irritation, persistent pain, prolonged blurred vision), discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.
  • Suitable for prolonged use by adults and children alike, with no age restrictions.
  • Keep for 6 months after opening, and store at temperatures below 25°C.
