What is Leukotape K BSN Elastic Taping Tape used for?

BSN's Leukotape K elastic taping tape is much more than just a skincare accessory: it acts like a second skin, accompanying your every movement while relieving muscle pain and promoting recovery.

Inspired by Dr. Kenzo Kase's neuro-proprioceptive taping method, it has won over top athletes thanks to its ability to maintain full joint amplitude, even in the event of injury. Unlike rigid strapping, it allows freedom of movement while providing targeted support, for comfort in everyday life or during sporting performance.

Thanks to its ability to improve lymphatic circulation, this band helps deflate inflamed areas and reduce oedema. By slightly lifting the skin, it creates a space conducive to better fluid circulation. It's a formidable ally against the sensation of heavy legs or post-exertion tension. This drainage function makes Leukotape K a gentle yet effective solution for athletes and people with mild circulatory problems alike.

Leukotape K is also renowned for improving proprioception, i.e. the perception of one's body in space. It stimulates the sensory receptors under the skin, helping the body to react better, correct its movements and strengthen muscular coordination. This can be a real lever in rehabilitation protocols, particularly after a sprain or muscular injury.

Another key benefit is pain reduction. This bandage acts on cutaneous mechanoreceptors, triggering a natural analgesic response. It reduces painful sensations, while facilitating a better return to physical activity. It is particularly useful for contractures, tendonitis and chronic pain.

Leukotape K adapts to all morphologies thanks to its cotton and Lycra structure, and its acrylic-based wavy stripe adhesive ensures excellent hold for up to 9 days, without discomfort or allergy, as it is latex-free. Its breathable fabric allows sweat to escape, leaving it in place even during showers or intense sessions.

Last but not least, this bandage is easy to cut thanks to its protective paper, allowing precise positioning according to the area to be treated. Whether you want to relax an overworked muscle or tone up an area undergoing rehabilitation, its personalized application will enable you to aim precisely, in complete autonomy.

For an even more complete treatment, the Urgo Bande de K inésiologie kinesiology strip can be used as a complement to reinforce the analgesic and draining effects of Leukotape K.

How to use Leukotape K?

Apply Leukotape K to clean, dry, cream-free skin. Determine the area to be treated, cut the appropriate length according to the area and the desired effect (toning or relaxing), then partially remove the protective paper. Apply the strip without tension at the ends, and with modulated tension in the center, directly on the muscle in the stretching position. Gently smooth the strip to activate the adhesive by manual friction.
