You can shower or bathe as usual. During the healing phase, the secretions produced by blisters are normally absorbed and appear as a white zone which gels and becomes slightly rounded. The dressing then acts like a double skin, forming a real barrier against impurities.
Start by thoroughly cleansing, disinfecting and drying the skin. Remove any protective film. Gently stretch the skin, without stretching the dressing as you apply it. Press onto the skin, ensuring that the edges adhere well.
Precautions for use
Compeed adheres perfectly when heated, after application hold the hand for a minute or more. Never cut a Compeed; it must be used in its original format.
