Microlax Baby Laxative Rectal Solution 4 single doses for children

For warnings, precautions for use and contraindications, please consult the instructions for use.

Description

Microlax baby is recommended as a symptomatic treatment for certain forms of constipation , in addition to hygienic dietetics, and as preparation for certain exams (rectoscopy).

In most cases, the child's constipation is mild. It is simply due to a slowing of the transit, a too slow progression of the stools in the colon. It can be linked to:

  • a change in baby's diet (formula for infant milk, food diversification, etc.);
  • dietary imbalance: not enough water and fiber, too much calcium (exclusive dairy products);
  • errors in bottle preparation.

Composition

  • Sorbitol, Sodium Citrate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate
  • Excipients: sorbic acid, glycerol, purified water.

Dosage

  • Constipation treatment   : 1 single-dose container per day.
  • Preparation for endoscopic exams of the rectum : 1 single-dose container administered 5 to 20 minutes before the time chosen for the bowel movement.
