This is the case with Beach Protect technology, which has been developed to meet the specific needs of exposure on the beach, in order to better protect the skin from factors likely to reduce the effectiveness of sun protection.
Broad spectrum filtering systems for high protection
In order to preserve solar capital, Vichy has notably developed photostable formulas with high indices and effective anti-UVA protection, thanks to the precise combination of high performance filters. These include filters patented by L'Oréal: Mexoryl XL and Mexoryl SX, which protect the epidermis against UVB, UVA and long UVA rays.

When the skin is exposed to UVA rays, it is able to double the synthesis of catalase, an essential defense enzyme.

The environmental impact of Capital Soleil's two filters has been extensively tested, even beyond regulatory requirements. Eco-toxicological evaluations show that even at concentrations much higher than the nominal traces found in seawater, they did not bleach coral reefs and did not inhibit the photosynthetic action of microalgae.
