Rubozinc 15 mg is indicated for the treatment of minor to moderate inflammatory acne and acrodermatitis enteropathica.

What is Rubozinc zinc gluconate used for?

For warnings, precautions and contraindications, please refer to the instructions for use.

Acne causes blackheads and pimples. There are several types of acne. It can appear as simple pimples (blackheads and whiteheads). This is calledretentional acne. Acne can also manifest itself in the form of larger pimples and lesions caused by bacteria. Bacteria naturally present in the skin can develop and cause inflammation in the layers of the skin: this isinflammatory acne.

Acrodermatitis enteropathica is a hereditary condition. It results in severe zinc deficiency due to a defect in the intestinal mucosa.

Rubozinc 15 mg is indicated in :

  • Inflammatory acne of minor and moderate severity: Inflammatory acne causes very red, sensitive pimples, which may contain pus and develop into cysts. They appear mainly on the face, décolleté, shoulders and back, and are numerous. The skin is inflamed and shiny due to excessive sebum secretion.
  • Acrodermatitis enteropathica: Acrodermatitis enteropathica is a pathology affecting teenagers, due to a defect in zinc absorption. This skin disease is characterized by the presence of pustules (crusts of pus) mainly around natural orifices (mouth, nostrils, etc.) and the so-called T-zone (forehead, nose).

Rubozinc 15 mg is an over-the-counter medication indicated for the treatment of minor to moderate inflammatory acne and acrodermatitis enteropathica. Thanks to its specific zinc-based formulation, this medication offers effective relief of the skin symptoms associated with these dermatological conditions, promoting healthier skin and overall well-being.

Inflammatory acne of minor and moderate severity can cause embarrassing skin lesions and impair the quality of life of those affected. Rubozinc 15 mg acts by regulating sebum production and reducing skin inflammation, helping to prevent the formation of new pimples and reduce existing lesions. By promoting the healing of skin imperfections, this medication helps restore the skin's natural appearance.

Acrodermatitis enteropathica is a rare skin condition characterized by inflammatory lesions on the extremities, often associated with zinc deficiency. Rubozinc 15 mg fills this zinc gap, restoring the body's nutritional balance and improving skin condition. By regulating inflammatory processes in the skin, this drug helps reduce the symptoms of acrodermatitis enteropathica and improve patients' quality of life.

Rubozinc 15 mg is available without prescription and comes in easy-to-swallow tablets, making it convenient to take on a daily basis. Its zinc-based formulation is well tolerated by most patients, minimizing the risk of side effects. However, it is advisable to follow the manufacturer's instructions and not exceed the recommended dosage for best results.

acne
Skin disorders associated with sebum retention forming comedones (blackheads and microcysts). These are the site of a proliferation of bacteria and turn into pustules.

antibiotics
A substance capable of blocking the multiplication of certain bacteria or killing them. The spectrum of an antibiotic is the set of bacteria on which this product is usually active. Unlike bacteria, viruses are not susceptible to antibiotics. The first antibiotics were extracted from mushroom cultures: penicillium (penicillin), streptomyces (streptomycin). They are currently manufactured by chemical synthesis. Antibiotics are divided into families: penicillins, cephalosporins, macrolides, tetracyclines (cyclines), sulphonamides, aminoglycosides, lincosanides, phenicolates, polymyxins, quinolones, imidazoles, etc.
Inappropriate use of antibiotics may lead to the development of resistance: use antibiotics only on medical prescription, adhere to its dosage and duration, do not give or advise another person an antibiotic prescribed for you .

deficiency
Deficit usually involving nutrients, vitamins, minerals, etc. A diversified diet is the best prevention of deficiencies.

cyclins
Family of antibiotics used especially in the treatment of acne and certain genital infections.

inflammation
Natural reaction of the organism against an element recognized as foreign. It manifests itself locally by redness, heat, pain or swelling.

Medication that protects the digestive tract by lining the mucosa with a protective film and decreasing the acidity of the stomach. This type of medication may interfere with the absorption of other drugs.

Digestive disorders
