Hei Poa in Tahitian language means "Crown of red flowers in the green valley". This brand is however indeed French. Its creation in 1977 is the culmination of a trip by Elisabeth and Marc Mazza to French Polynesia, who fell in love with the scent and texture of the prodigious oil of Polynesians. Back in mainland France, they make the original Monoi de Tahiti recipe known to the French, who will adopt it on the beaches, to make it the vacation tanning oil. A few decades later, Hei Poa continues to innovate around the Monoï de Tahiti, with new and unique fragrances, with high protection sun care, but always with respect for Polynesian traditions. The entire Hei Poa range is certified Monoï de Tahiti Designation of Origin.
Hei Poa belongs to the Batteur family. Founded in 1958 by pharmacist Pierre Batteur, this pharmaceutical and cosmetic laboratory (33 brands, 2,300 references) imports Monoi from Tahiti Designation of Origin from French Polynesia, to formulate it and condition it in Hérouville St Clair, near Caen in one of its 6 production sites located in Normandy and Brittany. The Mazza couple's journey to Tahiti continues with their daughter Gay Mazza, who ensures the brand's values and spirit within the Groupe Batteur, a large French company.
Monoï de Tahiti is a naturally prodigious oil.
Regenerating active ingredient for the skin:
Monoï hydrates the upper layers of the epidermis in a progressive and lasting way.
• Applied on clean, dry or even damp skin, Monoï leaves your epidermis supple, satiny and delicately scented. Used daily, even on the face, it provides natural hydration by instantly penetrating your skin.
• Monoï is used before and after sun exposure, to nourish your skin, moisturize and soften it. It will restructure faster and therefore brown healthier more quickly. Monoï is a tan extender. The sun filters contained in some Monoï are suitable for already tanned skin or for short exposures of the skin and hair.
• Monoï protects from the cold, sea salt and wind bites, like a second skin!
• In massage on the whole or part of the body, a small amount is enough to hydrate the whole body. Warmed in the palms of the hands, Monoï is ideal for sore areas, the most parched, to warm a febrile organism, or for the pleasure of massage.
• A few drops of Monoï in your bath perfume this moment of relaxation.
Monoï de Tahiti freezes at 20 ° C. To make it fluid, just expose it to heat (in the sun, radiator, under warm water ...). The transition from the solid state to the liquid does not diminish its properties.
