Composition Syrup Helicidine 10% Syrup without Sugar Cough Dry 250 ml

For 100 ml
Helicidin 10 ml

Excipients: xanthan gum, sodium saccharin, liquid maltitol, raspberry flavor, purified water. Preservatives: methyl parahydroxybenzoate, potassium sorbate.

Precautions for use Syrup Helicidine 10% Syrup without Sugar Cough Dry 250 ml

History of hypersensitivity to one of the constituents (in particular to methyl parahydroxybenzoate and sodium propyl and other parahydroxybenzoate salts).
Infants (under 2 years): see Warnings and Precautions for use.

Warnings :

  • In the event of fatty and purulent expectoration, in the event of fever or in the event of chronic disease of the bronchi and lungs, the therapeutic conduct should be reassessed.
  • Productive coughs, which are a fundamental element of bronchopulmonary defense, should be observed.
  • The combination of bronchial mucomodifiers with cough suppressants and / or substances drying secretions (atropinics) is irrational. Helicidin can induce bronchial overcrowding in infants. In fact, its capacities for draining bronchial mucus are limited, due to the physiological peculiarities of its respiratory tree. It should therefore not be used in infants (see Contraindications, Adverse Effects).
  • Treatment should be re-evaluated in the event of persistence or worsening of symptoms or pathology.

Precautions for use :

The 10 percent Helicidine Syrup contains hydrogenated glucose syrup (or liquid maltitol). Its use is not recommended in patients with fructose intolerance.

This medicine contains methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218); it can cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed).

Presentation Syrup Helicidine

250 ml syrup bottle.

advice

Most of the time painful and tiring, dry cough often tends to appear in autumn or winter, coinciding with the return of cold and pathologies affecting the respiratory tract.
A dry cough is irritating and unproductive as it does not cause sputum from the mucus. It can be more exhausting than a greasy cough because the absence of sputum prevents relief from the release of the bronchi.
Solutions for dry cough :
Drink throughout the day, especially hot herbal teas made with thyme or an infusion of mauve to relieve irritation caused by coughing.
Cypress essential oil is ideal for dry coughs of the “smoker's tracheitis” type.
