Lomexin 2% cream in a 15g tube is a medicine recommended for the treatment of certain skin disorders of the mucous membranes(mycoses), caused by microscopic fungi(candidiasis, derma-tophytia, pityriasis versicolor).

How do I treat mycosis or candidiasis with Lomexin 2% antifungal cream?

For warnings, precautions for use and contraindications, please consult the instructions for use.

Vaginal mycosis is a well-known condition among women, since 75% of them suffer from it at some point in their lives.

Vaginal mycosis is caused by a microscopic fungus, candida albicans, which becomes harmful when it transforms from its spore to its filamentous form.

Description Lomexin 2 Percent Mycosis Cream Tube 15g

Lomexin 2% cream in 15g tube is a medicine recommended for the treatment or adjunctive treatment of certain skin or mucous membrane disorders (mycoses) caused by microscopic fungi (candidiasis, dermatophytes, pityriasis verslcolor).

Mycoses: Causes

  • Candidiasis: Mycoses are most often caused by Candida albicans, a fungus normally found in the digestive tract and genital mucosa. In the presence of favorable factors, Candida can become pathogenic to the skin, nails and mucous membranes.
  • Dermatophytes: Some dermatophytes are transmitted by humans (contaminated clothing, soil, etc.), others by animals (cats, dogs, horses, etc.). These fungi are foreign to the organism and are always pathogenic. There are three types of fungi: Tricophyton (on skin, nails and hair), Microsporum (on skin and scalp), Epidermophyton (on hairless skin).
  • Pityrosporosis: caused by Malassezia furfur, a yeast that lives on the skin from birth. Pityrosporum orbiculare is the cause of pityriasis versicolor, a common summer mycosis.

How to use Lomexin 2% antifungal cream

Apply Lomexin 2% cream regularly to the lesions to be treated, once a day for the duration recommended by the doctor, depending on the mycosis.

Practical advice for Lomexin ointment:
For candidiasis, wash with a neutral or alkaline pH soap.
In gynecology, treatment should be accompanied by hygiene advice (wear cotton underwear, avoid vaginal douching, etc.) and, as far as possible, the elimination of contributing factors.
Do not interrupt treatment during menstruation.

We recommend Jailys Soothing and Reflourishing Balm as a base treatment for all women who want to protect their intimacy from external aggressions, who are looking for overall repair, lasting soothing, softer, more beautiful skin and mucous membranes, and who wish to maintain a healthy scent.

Method and route of administration
