How do I use this dry mist diffuser?
A few aromatherapy tips to get the most out of Bulle
- 10 to 20 drops of essential oils per diffusion session are sufficient.
- Essential oils should never be diffused continuously: 10 to 15 minutes of diffusion, two or three times a day, is sufficient.
- Always leave the door open when the diffuser is running.
- If the scent of an essential oil is too strong, diffuse it in moderation (risk of headaches). You can also mix it with another essential oil.
- Clean the glassware with alcohol and a long cotton swab every month to prevent essential oils from clogging the nozzles.
What are the side effects and contraindications?
It is imperative to use only essential oils that are suitable for diffusion.
Essential oils rich in phenols (see precautions for use) can be irritating to the respiratory tract and are not suitable for atmospheric diffusion or inhalation. They can be used for diffusion in small quantities (0.1 to 0.5%) in blends with other less aggressive essential oils (citrus, True Lavender...).
Do not diffuseessential oils rich in ketones (see precautions for use), especially in the presence of children.
Diffusion of essential oils is not recommended for asthma sufferers (especially during an attack), and caution is advised for young children and the elderly.
