The liquid form is a tradition in herbal medicine , it was obtained by infusion by pouring boiling water on the tender parts of the plant. Then let it infuse for a while to extract its assets. Following years of research, Arkopharma laboratories have found the ULTRAextract process to extract the active ingredients while preserving nature. Here are the different steps of the ULTRAextract® extraction process:
1 / Extraction of assets.
The plants are immersed in extraction tanks, they are subjected to very precisely calibrated ultrasonic pulses to preserve the integrity of the plant. Ultrasound creates what are called cavitation bubbles in the water. By imploding, they will release a large amount of energy and produce jets of water projected at high speed towards the plant. This phenomenon will destabilize plant cell structures and allow the active ingredients to be drawn from the depths of the plants.
2 / pressing
The stage of passage under the press makes it possible to separate the liquid and solid compounds and to recover the maximum of active compounds by pressing the plant.
3 / Filtration and conditioning
After pressing, the plants are filtered to remove the finest and undissolved particles. The extract obtained is then packaged in ampoules. Finally, the ampoules are sterilized at a suitable temperature so as to preserve the active components and ensure their stability over time.
