Note: It is always advisable to consult a specialist before starting any herbal treatment.
The fig tree, known by its scientific name Ficus carica, is a fruit tree with roots in the Mediterranean basin and Central Asia. It is remarkable not only for its succulent fruit, but also for its buds, which are transformed into a glycerine macerate with health benefits.
Fig trees are generally small, measuring between three and four meters. In optimal conditions, however, some can reach a stature of 8 meters. With its twisted trunk, this bushy tree is distinguished by the irritating white latex present in its leaves, twigs and fruit. The rough leaves, up to 25 cm long, have a deeply divided palmately lobed blade. As for the fruit, figs come in a variety of hues, from greenish to dark purple.
Thanks to a process of maceration in a mixture of alcohol and glycerine, fresh fig buds yield a precious liquid called mother-macerate. Once filtered and diluted, this becomes 1D glycerol macerate or MG 1D, a concentrate rich in benefits. In particular, they are prepared in Hahnemanian dilutions to the first decimal place (1 DH), with a few exceptions.
Nervous system:
One of Ficus carica's major assets is its ability to regulate emotionality. It is often recommended to treat various psychosomatic disorders, reducing stress and anxiety by harmonizing the nervous system.
Digestive system:
Beyond its calming effects, fig tree helps soothe heartburn and gastric inflammation, attesting to its versatility.
