Pharm Up is a joint-stock company created by a group of pharmacists wishing to promote their profession to patients and industrial and commercial partners. It was created in 2002, following the concern of pharmacists about the uncertain future of their profession, in particular due to the modernization of pharmacy equipment, commercial challenges and team training needs. This group of pharmacists therefore created the Union of Pharmacy Professionals (UPP) in 1987, around an idea of the profession based on ethics, competence, training and solidarity . Today, Pharm Up brings together more than 1,000 pharmacies spread over the Grand Est region, and allows the pooling of human and financial resources to undertake major projects .
The Pharm Up group brings together independent pharmacists who are committed to strong values such as hospitality, listening and advice , described in their charter. The quality of patient health is at the center of their concerns and they seek to gain the trust of their patients. Pharm Up pharmacists guarantee their patients professional advice, a favorable welcome and constant attention to their safety, while respecting ethics and the laws in force. They also use optimized means of organization and management, and undertake to maintain their independence in the choice of products offered (excluding medical prescription) and to refuse any commercial practice contrary to professional ethics. In short, the Pharm Up pharmacist is a true ally for patient health.
