What is Extrait fluide de plantes Chardon-marie Wamine used for?

A dietary supplement for pets (dogs, cats, rabbits and NACs), livestock (cows, pigs, poultry) or competition animals (horses, greyhounds) based on alcohol-free Milk Thistle fluid extract (standardized and stabilized). Wamine PhytoStandards are fluid extracts produced from selected plants whose origin is traceable. They are obtained using a patented process that respects the integrity of the plant. These extracts are standardized, ensuring a constant and stable content of active ingredients.

The essence of Milk Thistle lies mainly in its hepatoprotective power, with its protective and restorative action on liver cells. Favoring liver cell regeneration, Milk Thistle is a major support for liver protection, particularly in cases of liver damage or intoxication.

Milk thistle (Silybum marianum), renowned for its high content of silymarin, a complex of flavonoids, has a notable capacity to protect and regenerate hepatocytes, the liver's major constituent cells. Silymarin is involved in liver cell regeneration by modulating various cell signaling pathways, including promotion of cell proliferation and inhibition of apoptosis.

Its rich antioxidant content combats free radicals, contributing to the overall protection of organic cells. It is a key player in the antioxidant battle, helping to preservecellular integrity throughout the body.

The ancient Greeks already used milk thistle to treat liver and biliary disorders. In the Middle Ages, the plant was used to chase away "melancholy" or "black bile", which was associated with various liver disorders. Today, its use remains linked to liver and biliary disorders.

EPS or Extrait de Plantes fraîches Standardisées (standardized fresh plant extracts ) are obtained by the"PhytoStandard" extraction process, which respects the integrity and completeness of the active principles present in the plant. We can prepare your own EPS blends, according to the formulas recommended by your phytotherapist veterinarian.
