    How was the Milton brand born?

    Milton was designed in 1916 in the UK. Chemists and pharmacists are at the origin of the creation of this laboratory. They developed a product based on sodium hypochlorite (the sterilizing liquid). This was initially used as a disinfectant to treat soldiers in the First World War and later continued to be used as an antiseptic and disinfectant in hospitals.

    In 1947, Milton developed a cold sterilization technique for baby bottles. A revolutionary method as the country suffered a strong gastro epidemic with babies dying en masse. This method has made it possible to preserve many babies and gives the start of a great adventure.

    What are Milton products used for?

    Milton is the hygiene and disinfection range adopted by professionals for more than seven decades.

    This brand designs hygiene and disinfection products appreciated by professionals in the field of health and early childhood. Fully committed to respecting the planet, it is gradually moving towards plant chemistry while providing a solution to hygiene problems and a need for safety in the fight against infections worldwide: Coronavirus, Salmonella or even H1N1 .

    Milton is continually exploring new options to protect the most fragile people (babies, the elderly or even dependent people) against the germs that circulate daily.

    Milton personal care products combine safety and effectiveness and are developed with respect for the user and the planet. But the brand wants to go further to accentuate its commitments.

    In particular, it offers biocidal formulas designed based on plant-based active ingredients. It also develops biodegradable detergent products, reduces the use of plastic and uses recyclable packaging.

    What are the Milton brand disinfection products?

    For hand disinfection, it offers two products.

    • Milton hydroalcoholic gel prevents the proliferation of germs through manual contact. It helps to fight against epidemics of coronavirus, flu or even gastro.
    • The hand disinfectant foam is designed to be suitable for disinfecting the hands of babies from the age of 3 months.

    For the disinfection of surfaces, there are three different products.

    • ACTIV+ Disinfectant Cleaner
    • The Multi-surface disinfectant cleaner is ready to use and contains a 100% plant-based active ingredient that cleans and disinfects surfaces without rinsing.
    • Surface disinfectant wipes in sachets of 30 wipes are used by healthcare professionals. They are designed to disinfect objects (such as toys or door handles) and surfaces. They help fight bacteria. These are biodegradable wipes designed without perfume and dye.
