Vitamin C or ascorbic acid is a water-soluble antioxidant vitamin present in every cell of the body. It is essential for many functions: skin healing, proper functioning of the immune system, balance of the nervous system. Ester-C Plus Solgar contains no corn, yeast, wheat, soy or dairy derivatives, and no preservatives, artificial flavours or colors.
This vitamin C-rich dietary supplement features added calcium for a neutral pH. This helps reduce stomach and digestion problems.
In addition to acerola, the formula includes citrus bioflavonoids, rutin and rosehip. This potentiates theaction of vitamin C.
