advice

Tendinitis is the inflammation of a tendon or its sheath, the tendons being a kind of "strings" made up of collagen fibers used to attach muscles to bones. Tendinitis mainly results in pain, sometimes accompanied by swelling in the affected tendon. It is a musculoskeletal disorder (MSD).

Several alternative medicines can prove to be very effective in treating tendonitis.

  • Acupuncture can intervene, in particular by working at the level of the meridian of the liver.
  • Osteopathy allows self-healing very greatly accelerated (reduced by half) by doing a gentle work at the level of the fasciæ.
  • Physiotherapy by the Mézières method is very interesting for tendinitis which tends to be chronic.

In another register, it is important to have your teeth monitored, because cavities are likely to maintain tendonitis. Treating a tooth can sometimes be enough to resolve chronic tendonitis.
