Lohmann American Sterile Dressings are medical devices specially designed to absorb bleeding and compress wounds effectively. With their generous 10x10cm format, these dressings offer extensive coverage and optimum protection for medium to large wounds.
Featuring an absorbent core of high-quality cellulose wadding, Lohmann dressings ensure maximum absorption of exudate and bleeding, promoting an optimal healing process. Their ability to retain fluids keeps the wound clean and dry, reducing the risk of infection and promoting rapid healing.
The Lohmann dressing is closed on all 4 sides, ensuring a perfect seal and preventing fluid leakage. Its white color on the wound side makes it easy to visualize the condition of the wound, while its blue color on the outside provides better visibility and facilitates application.
Made from a particularly soft and comfortable non-woven fabric, Lohmann dressings are well tolerated by the skin, even on sensitive or fragile areas. Their polypropylene composition guarantees excellent resistance to moisture and friction, ensuring reliable, long-lasting protection.
Thanks to their external hydrophobic barrier, Lohmann dressings provide effective protection against external fluids and contaminants, while preserving wound integrity. This feature also prevents leakage and staining of clothing, ensuring optimum patient comfort.
