Description of APAISYL GEL 0 75% FOR LOCAL APPLICATION TUBE 30 G

The drug Apaisyl insect bites 0.75% is indicated in case of itching , in particular insect bites .

Waking up in the morning with your body covered in mosquito bites is a great summer classic. Most species bite between sunset and sunrise. In our regions, their bites are above all a source of discomfort. cause a local inflammatory reaction (erythema, swelling, heat and pain) and an itch that occurs a few minutes later and may persist for up to a week. To soothe the itching, it is best to apply a cream based on antihistamines or corticosteroids for more severe cases, locally, or even orally if necessary. Edetic acid, sorbic acid, 70 percent non-crystallizable sorbitol, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, sodium hydroxide, purified water.

  • Special warnings

Do not apply on a large surface, under occlusive dressing, on injured skin or in premature babies or in infants because of the risk of passage of the active ingredient in the blood.
Do not apply to the mucous membranes.
This medicine contains sorbic acid and can cause local skin reactions (for example: eczema).
  • Precautions for use  

Itching is only a symptom that can have multiple causes requiring the advice of your doctor especially in case of persistence or worsening of the disorders.
Apaisylgel 0.75%, gel for local application, is not a sunscreen.
Apaisylgel 0.75%, gel for local application, should not be used as a care cream on healthy skin.
