What is Aqualarm Intensive UD 0.2% single-dose eye drops used for?
Aqualarm Intensive UD :
- is a clear ophthalmic solution,
- is preservative-free,
- contains hyaluronic acid, also found as a natural polymer in the healthy eye and human tear film,
- can be used to moisten and re-moisten soft and hard contact lenses during wear, thereby significantly improving lens-wearing comfort.
Aqualarm Intensive UD with 0.2%hyaluronic acid is an ophthalmic solution in boxes of 30 single-dose 0.5 ml packs, recommended for moistening dry, tired eyes.
Symptoms of dry eyes include
- sensation of sand in the eye, eye discomfort, stinging;
- mild burning, irritation;
- fluctuating blurred vision;
- eye fatigue;
- presence of mucus around the eyes;
- difficulty wearing contact lenses;
- sensitivity to light, wind, cold, smoke, etc.

How to use these artificial tears
Can be used 3 months after first opening
One drop in the eye when needed.
- Grasp a single-dose bottle at the marked point and detach.
- Twist off the protective cap at the top of the unit-dose.
- Tilt your head back slightly and pull your lower eyelid down with a finger of your free hand. Hold the unit dose as vertically as possible, pointing downwards, above your eye, and carefully instill a drop.
- Then close your eye, moving back and forth and blinking several times to distribute the ophthalmic solution as evenly as possible over the surface of the eye. Make sure that the tip of the unit-dose never comes into contact with your eye or fingers, to prevent impurities from entering the solution.

Precautions for use
- Do not inject or swallow.
- In case of concomitant treatment with another eye drop, wait 15 minutes between instillations.
- The single-dose container contains enough eye drops to treat both eyes.
- The single-dose (single-use) container does not contain a preservative: therefore, the single-dose container should be discarded immediately after use and not stored for future use.
- Do not touch the eye with the tip of the single-dose container.
- Unless otherwise advised by your doctor, the use of this eye drop is not recommended for children.

What does it contain?
Aqualarm Intensive UD contains 0.2% hyaluronic acid and other ingredients such as sterile water, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate and sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate. It contains no preservatives.
Formulated with hyaluronic acid, the most moisturizing molecule discovered today, Aqualarm Intensive UD is used to moisten the cornea. This eye drop improves eye lubrication by moistening the cornea. Hyaluronic acid retains up to 1,000 times its weight in water, acting like a sponge in the eye.
