DESOMEDINE 10ML SPRAY NASAL SOLUTION: The DESOMEDINE nasal spray is an antiseptic. This medicine can treat benign nasal infections, adult and child.

Description of desomedine nasal solution spray 10ml

DESOMEDINE nasal spray is an antiseptic . This medication is used to treat mild nasal infections in adults and children.

Nasal infections result from the presence of bacteria in the nasal passages. Generally the bacteria belongs to the category of staphylococci.
Symptoms of nasal infection include the formation of crusts and pimples in the nostrils. Untreated infection can worsen, especially if the patient has a weakened immune system or if the staph spreads to other parts of the body.

4 to 6 sprays per day.

Composition of desomedine nasal solution spray 10ml

Hexamidine (INN) di-isethionate 10 mg

Excipients : sodium chloride, boric acid, sodium borate, ppi water.

Precaution for use with desomedine nasal solution spray 10ml

Sensitization to diamidines or to one of the constituents.

Warnings :  

Risk of selection of resistant strains.

Precautions for use:  

The usual treatment will not exceed 10 days; beyond that, the conduct to be followed must be reassessed.

3 years.

· Prolonged use (more than 10 days) of this medication is undesirable as it is likely to alter the natural microbial balance of the nose.
