Gifrer 10-volume hydrogen peroxide is an antiseptic solution used to disinfect the skin or small wounds and hemostatic , that is to say to limit or stop bleeding .
The active ingredient in 10 volume Gifrer hydrogen peroxide is hydrogen peroxide .
This concentration of "10 volumes" corresponds to 3 grams of active ingredient per 100 mL .
Unlike other dilutions of hydrogen peroxide sometimes used as stain removers or lighteners, only hydrogen peroxide at 10 volumes is intended for disinfection and treatment of the skin .
Antisepsis of the wound must above all go through a careful and rigorous cleaning of the skin. It is not recommended to combine 10 volumes of Gifrer with hydrogen peroxide with another antiseptic treatment, at the risk of seeing their effectiveness canceled.
The solution should be administered using a small compress or a piece of cotton on the affected area. It is possible to observe slight tingling after application.
When Gifrer 10-volume hydrogen peroxide is used to stop light bleeding, it is also possible to see light foam appear. This reaction is normal.
Hydrogen peroxide .............................................. .............................................. 3,0000 g

Do not get in eyes. Do not use for antisepsis before sampling.
How to protect a wound ?
Protect the wound with a bandage if it may be exposed to dirt, acidity, chemicals, or rubbing against clothing. Otherwise, let the wound heal in the open air, knowing nevertheless that contrary to popular belief, the abrasion will heal faster in the humidity of a bandage.
When a crust forms, do not scrape it: it protects the wound against impurities.
Unless medically indicated, the dressing should not be changed too often, as this may slow healing (some types of dressings can also speed it up).
