How to measure your ankle correctly?

1. Measuring position : Stand with your foot flat, with your weight distributed equally on both feet.
2. Reference point : Identify the malleoli, which are the two bony prominences on either side of the ankle.
3. Measuring procedure : Using a tape measure, measure the circumference of the ankle by placing the tape measure just above the malleolus. Make sure the tape measure is horizontal and adjusted without tightening it too much.
