Each Soffix Med dressing consists of an absorbent, low-adhesion central pad and a hypoallergenic, non-woven adhesive backing. The pad contains a broad-spectrum antiseptic (0.2% chlorhexidine digluconate) to protect the wound from infection. What's more, the part of the compress in contact with the wound is equipped with a non-stick film to minimize adhesion to the wound when the dressing is removed.
