The thermogel cushion relieves painful parts of the body through its cold or hot action. The Basic Thermogel 10x26cm reusable cushion comes with a special protective cover, to prevent heat or cold from irritating users with sensitive or delicate skin.

The Thermogel cushion is designed not to slip once in position. What's more, its gel construction prevents it from icing up, even after prolonged freezing. If you wish to use its heating properties, simply place it in the microwave or in boiling water. Conversely, for cryotherapy, you'll need to place it in the freezer for a few hours before applying it to the painful area.

To cool:
Place the pouch in the freezer for 2 hours.
Remove from freezer, then place in cover.
Apply, securing it to the area to be relieved.
To heat:
Casserole: Bring water to the boil, cool to around 60°C and place pouch in hot water for 5 to 10 minutes. Test and apply with cover.
Microwave: Place the pouch in a microwave container and cover with water. Heat for 6 mins (max. 300W).
How do I heat or cool the Thermogel cushion safely?
For hot use, heat the cushion in the microwave according to the time indicated on the packaging. For cold use, place the cushion in the freezer for at least one hour before use.
Can the Thermogel cushion be applied directly to the skin?
We recommend using the supplied cover for extra protection and to avoid burns or frostbite. The cover also ensures gentler temperature diffusion.
How long does the effect of heat or cold last?
The effect may vary depending on the environment and usage, but generally speaking, the therapeutic effect of hot or cold effectively lasts for around 20 to 30 minutes.
