The microporous backing of Opticlude Junior allows the skin to breathe, which is essential for maintaining healthy skin under the dressing, even when worn for long periods. What's more, its soft texture and ability to adapt to anatomical contours ensure a comfortable, secure fit, allowing children to go about their daily activities without discomfort.
Thanks to its hypoallergenic adhesive and non-adherent pad, application and removal of Opticlude Junior is simple and painless. The adhesive ensures a secure hold, yet is easy to remove, while the non-adhesive pad prevents the dressing from sticking to the child's delicate skin.

How to use these eye occlusion dressings?
To apply :
Clean and dry the skin beforehand. Remove the protective paper to expose the pad and adhesive. Gently close both eyes, keeping facial muscles relaxed. Avoid wrinkles around the eyes.
Apply the orthoptic bandage, making sure that the narrow part of the bandage is positioned towards the nose. Do not remove the bandage or stretch the skin.
The adhesive of the orthoptic bandage is sensitive to pressure, so massage lightly on the adhesive part to ensure proper hold.
To remove :
Slightly lift part of the edge of the orthoptic bandage, starting from the side of the nose.
Support the skin with your fingers. Gently remove the bandage by pointing it towards the ear, keeping it close to the surface of the skin, while turning it inside out.
Always hold the skin while removing the bandage to prevent skin damage.
