- Fleas (larvae and adults).
- Ticks (vector of piroplasmosis in particular).
- Mosquitoes, sandflies (vector of leishmaniasis) and flies.
Advantix Très Petit Chien in 6 pipettes of 0.4 ml is a spot-on external anti-parasite for small dogs, with anti-flea, antitic and anti-mosquito (phlebotomine) effects. Spot-on external anti-parasite (imidacloprid and permethrin) for dogs, flea, tick, mosquito (sandfly) repellent.
Duration of action :
- 1 month on fleas
- 1 month on ticks
- 2 to 4 weeks on mosquitoes/phlebotomus/flies
For dogs:
Prevention and treatment of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides canis, Ctenocephalides felis).
Fleas present on the dog are killed within 24 hours of treatment.
A single treatment prevents flea reinfestation for 4 weeks. The drug can be integrated into a therapeutic program for flea-bite allergic dermatitis (FAD).
treatment of infestations by chewing lice (Trichodectes canis).
The product has acaricidal and repellent efficacy on ticks, persisting for 4 weeks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes ricinus) and 3 weeks (Dermacentor reticulatus).
Ticks already present on the dog at the time of treatment may not be killed during the 2 days following treatment, and may remain attached and visible. It is therefore advisable to remove any ticks present at the time oftreatment, to prevent them attaching to the dog and taking a blood meal.

How to use this flea repellent
Apply 1 pipette per month directly to the skin of the neck between the shoulder blades, taking care to spread the hair.
For cutaneous application only; only on healthy skin.
Remove one pipette from the packaging. Hold pipette upright, rotate and remove cap. Place cap upside down on pipette and rotate to puncture pipette, then remove cap.
- For dogs weighing 10 kg or less: with the dog in an upright position, spread the hair between the shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and press firmly several times to empty the contents directly onto the skin.
- For dogs over 10 kg body weight: with the dog in an upright position, apply the entire contents of the pipette evenly at four points on the animal's back, from the shoulders to the base of the tail. At each application point, spread the hair until the animal's skin is visible.
Place the tip of the pipette on the skin, and press gently to deposit some of the solution on the skin. Do not apply too much solution at any one point, as it may run down the dog's sides.
Overdose (symptoms, emergency treatment, antidotes):
Application of doses equivalent to 5 times the therapeutic dose in healthy puppies or adult dogs has not produced any adverse clinical signs.
The same applies to puppies whose mothers received 3 times the therapeutic dose.
Precautions for use
- Avoid contact of the solution with the eyes or mouth of treated dogs.
- Take care to administer the product correctly, as described under "Dosage and route of administration".
- Take particular care to prevent ingestion of the product by licking the application site by treated animals or animals in contact with them.
Do not use on cats.
Advantix Très Petit Chien is extremely dangerous in cats, and may be lethal, given the particular physiology of cats and their inability to metabolize certain compounds such as permethrin. To avoid accidental exposure of cats to the product, keep treated dogs away from cats until the application site is completely dry. It is important that cats do not lick the application site of a recently treated dog. If this happens, contact your veterinarian immediately.
Consult your veterinarian before using this product on sick or weakened dogs.
Do not allow dogs to come into contact with the aquatic environment for at least 48 hours after application, as the product may be harmful to aquatic organisms.
