What is Calform Eco Plus 3l Bayer bottle used for?
For dairy cows at calving and in preparation for lactation: dietary supplement for calcium therapy. CALFORM Eco Plus Bayer is a dietary supplement for calving cows and in preparation for lactation. Calcium formate is characterized by its rapid and prolonged action. The serum peak is reached rapidly (1 hour), with an 8-hour plateau at 2.2 mmol/l. Magnesium intake at calving is sufficient to avoid hypomagnesemia, which favors hypocalcemia. Energy intake at calving (3 MJ) in the form of propylene glycol reduces the risk of ketosis. The unctuousness of the suspension, the absence of irritation to the oral mucosa and the aromatic taste ensure that the product is palatable and easy to swallow.
Calform Eco Plus is formulated with two key ingredients: magnesium chloride and calcium formate. These two ingredients play an essential role in cow nutrition during calving and lactation.
Magnesium chloride is a highly bioavailable source of magnesium. Magnesium is an essential mineral for cow metabolism. During the calving period, magnesium requirements increase considerably. Magnesium chloride provides an immediate source of magnesium to prevent potential deficiencies and maintain cow health.
Calcium formate is a highly soluble and bioavailable form of calcium. Calcium is a crucial mineral for the health of dairy cows, particularly during the lactation period. It helps maintain bone health, promote muscle contraction and support milk production. Calcium formate provides a rapid source of calcium to meet the increased needs of cows during lactation.
Bayer Calform Eco Plus 3L Bottle offers a range of essential benefits for dairy farmers. Here are the key benefits of this product:
One of the main benefits of Calform Eco Plus is its ability to prevent magnesium and calcium deficiencies. Deficiencies in these minerals can lead to serious health problems in cows, such as milk fever. By providing a reliable source of magnesium and calcium, this product helps maintain animal health.
Calcium is essential for healthy cow bones. During lactation, cows produce calcium-rich milk, which can lead to bone calcium loss. Calcium formate helps support bone health, ensuring that cows remain in good physical condition.
Adequate calcium intake is essential to maintain optimum milk production. Calform Eco Plus helps provide cows with the right amount of calcium to support their milk production. This translates into more and better milk production.
The product is packaged in a 3-liter can, making it easy to store and administer. It can be added to cows' daily feed ration or administered individually as required. Calform Eco Plus is compatible with current feeding practices on dairy farms. It can be easily integrated into cows' diets without disrupting their daily nutrition.
