Profender Moyen Chat is indicated for cats suffering from or at risk of mixed parasitic infestations caused by roundworms and flatworms of the following species:
Roundworms (Nematodes)
Toxocara cati (mature and immature adult stages and L3 and L4 larval stages)
Toxascar leonina (adult mature and immature stages and L4 larval stage)
Ancylostoma tubaeforme (adult mature and immature stages and L4 larval stage)
Flatworms (Cestodes)
Dipylidium caninum (adult stage)
Taenia taeniaeformis (adult stage)
Echinococcus multilocularis (adult stage)

The recommended minimum doses are 3 mg emodepside / kg body weight and 12 mg praziquantel / kg body weight, ie 0.14 ml Profender / kg body weight.

A single administration treatment is effective.
Tips for proper administration
Take a pipette out of the package. Hold the pipette upright, turn and pull the cap. Use the cap upside down to screw and puncture the pipette orifice. Spread the hair of the cat's neck, at the base of the skull, so as to see the skin. Place the end of the pipette on the skin and press firmly several times to empty the contents directly onto the skin. The application at the base of the neck will minimize the possibility of licking the product by the cat. This product is to be administered on the skin only. Apply only on healthy skin.

The product may cause salivation and vomiting in very rare cases. This would result from licking the application site by the cat immediately after treatment. In very rare cases after Profender administration, transient alopecia, pruritus and / or inflammation have been observed at the application site.
