Description of HEPARGITOL

Hepargitol is a drug recommended in the symptomatic treatment of dyspeptic disorders as well as the adjunctive treatment of constipation .

Dyspepsia results in a feeling of heaviness and overflow in the stomach (in the upper part of the belly) and a series of digestive disorders such as bloating and gas (belching and flatulence). It is common for dyspepsia to cause vomiting and especially gastroesophageal reflux , that is to say, stomach acid rising into the esophagus, which causes severe burns behind the sternum. Dyspepsia also results in abdominal pain which can appear both during and after meals (i.e. during digestion) and which may be accompanied by constipation or, conversely, diarrhea .
