What is Clément Thekan Spray antiparasitaire chien used for?

If you own a dog, or are about to take the plunge, you should know that protection against parasites is essential to protect your companion and ensure his comfort, as well as for the hygiene of your home, if he is destined to live alongside you. We're all familiar with fleas, ticks and chewing lice, but there are many other ectoparasites that threaten your pet, such as: sandflies, vectors of leishmaniasis, mosquitoes, mange mites, demodex and augusts. That's why preventive treatments will ensure your pet's lasting protection and put your mind at rest.

Clément Thekan Spray antiparasitaire chien from Laboratoires Omega Pharma, is a treatment that eliminates unwanted parasites lodged on your pet. It contains :

  • Bioallethrin: an insecticidal agent derived from plant extracts, which originate from pyrethrum, that acts on external parasites found on dogs.
  • Synthetic pyrethroid: Effective against external parasites.
  • Piperonyl Butoxide: This agent potentiates the Pyrethroid and reinforces its action.

Clément Thékan Spray Antiparasitaire pour Chien is renowned for its fast, effective action. As soon as it's applied, it eliminates the parasites present on your dog. This means your pet will feel immediate relief from the itching and discomfort caused by fleas and ticks.

In addition to its elimination action, this anti-parasite spray also has a preventive action. It creates a protective barrier around your dog, reducing the risk of reinfestation by fleas, ticks and other parasites. This guarantees long-term protection for your pet.

The spray is easy to apply to your dog. Its spray format ensures even distribution of the product on your pet's coat. You can spray directly onto the dog, making sure to cover all areas, including hard-to-reach spots. This anti-parasite spray is suitable for all dogs, whether small, medium or large. It can be used safely on puppies from 2 days of age, as well as on pregnant and nursing bitches.

Clément Thékan veterinary laboratory also offers Fiprokyl anti-parasite spray for dogs and cats, at the best price in our online pharmacy.

How to use this anti-parasite spray?

Clément Thekan Spray antiparasitaire chien by Laboratoires Omega Pharma, is sprayed only on the skin of your dog under two months of age:

  1. Spray about 20 cm from the animal, taking care to brush back the hair.
  2. Spray thoroughly all over the animal's body.
  3. Spray directly onto ticks already attached.
  4. Spray duration depends on the size of the animal (approx. 5 seconds of spray per 10 kg of weight).
  5. The treatment should be repeated for each reinfestation.
  6. Wash hands after use.

In the case of young animals, which are more sensitive, it is advisable to reduce the duration of spraying, and to prevent the animal from licking itself after applying the product.
