Therapeutic indications: Nervous system> Memory, Circulation> Raynaud's syndrome
Family of drugs: Vasodilators
Active ingredients: Moxisylyte hydrochloride
Carlytene is a medicine containing moxisylyte with vasodilatory properties. It improves memory functions in the event of aging and relieves Raynaud's syndrome.
What it does: The moxisylyte blocks alpha 1 receptors on the blood vessels, causing them to dilate and therefore cause more blood to flow. This influx that irrigates the brain improves cognitive functions and relieves Raynaud's syndrome
1 tablet 3 times a day.
When to take it: The tablets can be taken with or without food
Duration of treatment: The duration of treatment is established under the supervision of a doctor.
Raynaud's syndrome can be both benign or hide an underlying pathology.
Raynaud's syndrome or Raynaud's disease (mild) is defined as a decrease in blood supply to the extremities (hands, feet, nose, ears ...), triggered by the cold. This phenomenon, most often completely reversible in a few minutes, results in color changes (from blue to white then to red).
Benign in its expression and its evolution, Raynaud's disease remains troublesome because it is a source of worry and sometimes pain. There is no treatment that can cure Raynaud's disease.
The main treatment for Raynaud's syndrome is based on rigorous protection of the whole body against cold and humidity. Avoidance of vasoconstrictor drugs is also necessary.
Lifestyle changes are therefore the first steps to take. They include the imperative suppression of tobacco, the protection of the whole body by warm clothes fighting against cold and humidity. Also avoid any sudden temperature change and contact with cold objects, or put your hands in the refrigerator ...
The use of vasodilator molecules intervenes as a second intention to improve the symptomatology of Raynaud's disease.
When Raynaud's syndrome appears suddenly, it is imperative to consult because it can be the symptom of a serious underlying pathology.
