The weight of the animals must be evaluated as precisely as possible before calculating the dose of Strongid Horse.
6.6 mg of Pyrantel per kg of bodyweight, in single administration, orally, i.e. 1 applicator of 26 grs for an adult horse of 600 kg. Strongid Cheval's paste is administered orally, in the absence of any food, by introducing the end of the applicator into the interdental space and by depositing the required amount of paste at the base of the tongue. Each graduation of the applicator makes it possible to treat 150 kg of live weight.

Use of Strongid Horses Dewormer Horse 26g during pregnancy or lactation: Studies in laboratory animals have not shown any embryotoxic or teratogenic potential of pyrantel. Safety in the mare has not been studied. Since pyrantel is poorly absorbed, the use of this medicinal product should not pose any particular problem.
