How to use the special slimming massage oil?

Regular massages, combined with a balanced diet and appropriate physical exercise, are the essential foundations of your slimming program.
Get your slimming program off to a strong start with two daily applications of Slimming Massage Oil for four weeks:

  1. Apply the oil after a bath or shower to skin that is still slightly damp. Massage it in using circular motions, working your way up from the bottom to the top on the thighs (following the direction of venous return) before moving on to the buttocks and abdomen.
  2. Apply only as much oil as your skin can absorb. A few drops in the palm of your hand are enough: rub your palms together and spread the oil over your skin, massaging it in. This way, the oil leaves only a very thin protective film on the skin, smoothing and softening it without leaving a “greasy” residue.
  3. Upon waking, a brief dry massage of problem areas with a horsehair glove or massage brush tones the body, stimulates nutrient exchange, and prepares the skin to absorb the active ingredients of the Slimming Massage Oil by removing dead skin cells.
  4. Try a Scottish shower! Finish your shower or bath by running a cool stream of water for a few seconds along your right leg, then your left, moving the showerhead from bottom to top. This is very invigorating for lymphatic and venous circulation.

To ensure the active ingredients penetrate deeply into the layers of the dermis until they reach the adipose tissue, it’s essential to massage thoroughly for a few minutes, following the routine recommended by Weleda. The best tip? Start with a gentle exfoliation to help your skin better absorb the active ingredients—for example, using the birch exfoliating shower cream.

On the abdominal area:always apply the oil in a clockwise direction; then use your fingertips to make small circles under the ribs to release tension. Make deep spiral motions, followed by smoothing strokes along the path of the colon and then the intestines. Pinch the skin on your abdomen, then gently roll it between your fingers; finally, smooth it with the edge of your hand toward your navel.

For the thighs: the routine also involves kneading, pinching, and rubbing the entire leg, from the ankles up to the top of the thigh, always using upward strokes. Feel free to rub and warm the skin across the entire surface of the thigh as you feel the heat.
