Precautions for use

The fact that there are no longer any live fleas in your pet's coat does not necessarily mean that there are none left. In the presence of a limited number of fleas, they may be difficult to see.

During the first hour after administration, the host animal may experience more intense itching. This is due to the fleas' reaction to the product.
In very rare cases, cats may experience transient signs of hyperactivity.

Nitenpyram may be administered to pregnant or lactating females.
Studies on laboratory animals (rats and rabbits) have shown no evidence of teratogenic or fetotoxic effects. The product's safety has been demonstrated in pregnant and nursing cats and bitches.
