    Different types of scalp

    As with the skin, different types of scalp exist. It can be oily, mixed, normal or dry.

    • A dry scal p may not produce enough sebum. As a result, hair looks dull and lifeless, and is easily brittle and fragile.
    • An oily scal p is due to excess sebum, making hair limp and dull. Everyone produces sebum, but some people produce more than they need.
    • Sensitive scal ps don't like overly aggressive shampooing, straightening or daily styling! It lets you know its displeasure very quickly: itching, dandruff, hair loss.
