What is Phytosun Aroms Huile Essentielle Eucalyptus Radié Bio 10 ml used for?

Eucalyptus radiata essential oil has anticatarrhal, expectorant, antitussive and antiviral properties. It is an immune stimulant. It is antibacterial and anti-inflammatory. It is essential for fighting winter ailments naturally, and we recommend buying some in advance to act quickly against a cold, for example. Eucalyptus radiata is also effective in prevention, simply rubbing it into the solar plexus and wrists.

Eucalyptus radiata organic essential oil is used in the following therapeutic indications:

  • Bronchitis, asthmatic bronchitis, sinusitis
  • Influenza, colds, viral epidemics
  • Leucorrhea, vaginitis, cystitis
  • Asthenia

N.B.: Eucalyptus radiata essential oil is one of the components of viks vaporub. It is dosed at 1.5g per 100g of ointment.

Thanks to its high 1,8 cineole content, eucalyptus radiata essential oil acts as a powerful expectorant and mucolytic. It helps clear the respiratory tract by liquefying bronchial secretions and promoting their expulsion. This expectorant action makes it an ideal choice for relieving coughs, colds, bronchitis and other respiratory ailments.

Eucalyptus radiata essential oil is also recognized for its antiviral properties. It is effective against a wide range of viruses, including influenza, colds and herpes. Inhaled or diffused, it helps fight viral infections and boost the immune system.

Thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties, eucalyptus radiata essential oil helps relieve pain and inflammation associated with a variety of conditions, such as arthritis, sprains and muscle aches. It can be massaged into a vegetable oil to relieve joint tension and stiffness.

Eucalyptus radiata has antiseptic and purifying properties, making it an invaluable ally for disinfecting surfaces and air. When diffused into the air, it helps to purify the environment and eliminate germs and bacteria, making it an ideal choice for purifying the atmosphere during epidemics or convalescence.

How to use this essential oil

Action on the bronchopulmonary sphere: dilute organic eucalyptus radiata essential oil 10% in black cumin vegetable oil. Apply with a gentle, prolonged massage over the back and chest.

All external uses and diffusion are suitable.

At the first sign of a cold (tingling in the throat, sneezing) apply 5-8 drops of pure eucalyptus radiata essential oil to the Eustachian tubes, throat and under the nose, or prepare a toddy before going to bed.

For genito-urinary infections and as an anti-inflammatory, give preference to unctions.

1/ Possible current use for allergic colds (adults): 2 drops of Eucalyptus radiata essential oil + 1 drop of Cardamom essential oil + 1 drop of Clove essential oil + 4 drops of Sweet Almond Vegetable Oil, 2 drops of this mixture applied to the sinuses.

2/ Alternatively, to treatirritation of the lower respiratory tract (children over 7 years of age): 2 drops of Eucalyptus radiata essential oil + 1 drop of Lavender essential oil + 1 drop of Red Myrtle essential oil, 2 drops of this mixture + 5 drops of Macadamia Vegetable Oil for chest massage.

Precautions for use

  • Not recommended for pregnant or breast-feeding women.
  • Not recommended for asthmatics (except in cases of asthmatic bronchitis in non-asthmatics).
  • 1ml of eucalyptus radiata essential oil may cause convulsions.
  • Not recommended for epileptics
  • WARNING: may interact with the pill, anticoagulants and chemotherapy.
  • Not for children under 7 years of age

What is its composition?

Eucalyptus radiata thrives in the drained soils of the subtropics. It has a bluish-gray trunk, deciduous bark, rounded juvenile leaves and lanceolate adult leaves. Australian aborigines use the fresh leaves to dress their wounds.
