Fiprodog 134mg Biocanina Medium Dog 3 Pipettes is a treatment for flea (Ctenocephalides sp.) and tick (Dermacentor reticulatus) infestations in dogs. Insecticidal efficacy against new adult flea infestations persists for up to 8 weeks. Acaricidal efficacy persists for up to 3 weeks against ticks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor reticulatus). If ticks of certain species (Rhipicephalus sanguineus and Ixodes ricinus) are present when the product is applied, they may not all be killed within the first 48 h, but may be within the first week. The product can be integrated into a therapeutic program for the treatment of Flea Hypersensitivity Dermatitis (F.H.S.D.) if this has been diagnosed by the veterinarian beforehand.
Fiprodog is effective in eliminating fleas and ticks that can infest your dog's skin. Fleas and ticks can cause itching, skin irritation and even transmit serious diseases. By using Fiprodog regularly, you protect your dog from these harmful parasites.
As well as eliminating existing parasites, Fiprodog offers excellent prevention against future infestations. By applying the pipettes regularly, you reduce the risk of your dog being infested by fleas or ticks.
Wait 48 hours after bathing or swimming to apply the product, and 48 hours after application to bathe your dog. This is the time needed for the product to diffuse throughout the body and store in the skin. Spread the hair well apart (making a neat parting) and deposit the product on the SKIN. Anything that falls on the hair will not diffuse well over the rest of the body. Wash your hands thoroughly after application, and avoid stroking your dog at the application site for 2 hours.
We've found that some pipettes are highly effective against fleas, but less so for ticks. In this case, we advise you to combine a flea collar (Scalibor ND, which lasts 6 months) with the flea pipettes.

Route of administration and dosage. For external use only. Apply the product directly to the skin according to the animal's weight, as follows: 1 pipette of 1.34 ml for a dog weighing between 10 kg and 20 kg.
Be sure to apply the product to an area that the animal cannot lick, and ensure that animals do not lick each other after treatment.
Do not apply an excessive amount of product to a single spot to prevent the hair from becoming sticky. However, if this happens, the sticky appearance will disappear within 24 hours of application.
