What is the purpose of the Medela Calma Breastmilk Bottle?
The Medela Calma 250 ml bottle is a breastfeeding aid. It is suitable for babies who cannot be breastfed for a certain period of time. It facilitates the breast-to-bottle transition and, above all, the return to the breast. The same tip size is used throughout the breastfeeding period, just like the breast. Medela Calma Biberon 250 ml Lait Maternel helps infants maintain the sucking reflexes acquired during breastfeeding. It should only be used once breastfeeding has been completed.
Medela's Calma 250 ml bottle is a breastfeeding aid designed to provide a suitable alternative for babies who are unable to breastfeed for any length of time. Thanks to its innovative design, this bottle facilitates the breast-to-bottle transition while preserving the sucking reflexes acquired during breastfeeding.
Medela's Calma bottle is specially designed to reproduce the natural sucking sensation of the mother's breast. Its unique mouthpiece enables the baby to control the flow of milk in a similar way to breastfeeding, promoting a smooth transition from breast to bottle. This feature is particularly beneficial for infants who need to alternate between breastfeeding and bottle-feeding.
Using Medela's Calma bottle enables infants to retain the sucking reflexes acquired during breastfeeding. By reproducing the same sucking sensation and milk flow as when breastfeeding, this bottle stimulates the same muscles and reflexes, contributing to baby's oral development and oral-facial coordination.
Medela's Calma bottle is specially designed for use with breast milk. Its 250 ml size provides the optimum amount of breast milk to feed baby satisfactorily. Thanks to its ergonomic design and adapted tip, this bottle offers a comfortable, natural feeding experience for the baby.
Medela's Calma bottle is recommended for use once breastfeeding is well established. In fact, this bottle is designed to reproduce the sensation and flow of milk from the mother's breast, which requires the baby to have acquired the necessary sucking and swallowing skills. It is therefore preferable to introduce this bottle once breastfeeding is well established.
We also offer Nuk Sachets Conservation Lait Maternel 25 Sachets, the ideal solution for safely storing your baby's breast milk.
