The history of the Ducray brand began in a hairdressing salon, thanks to a bold and visionary man: Albert Ducray.
The son of a dermatologist, he realized that water-diluted soap powders gave shampoos alkaline properties that weakened and dulled hair. He created his own line of shampoos, Lik's Savons, which for the 1st time catered for dermatological indications, and had the particularity of being in
in individual doses. A highly avant-garde innovation for its time!
Albert Ducray also explores a new distribution channel adapted to the medical positioning of his products: the pharmacy. His meeting with Mr Pierre FABRE in 1969 was decisive for the brand's growth and development.
