Herpes and fever bl isters are viral conditions that are generally treated with antiviral drugs prescribed by a healthcare professional. Although homeopathy can be used to relieve some of the symptoms associated with these conditions, it cannot completely cure herpes or fever blisters.
Description of homeopathic kit for fever blisters
Herpes is a viral disease caused by a virus: Herpes simplex virus type 1 or 2 (HSV1 or HSV2). It can be found in the mouth (herpes labialis), around the nostrils, inside the mouth, at the back of the throat, on the gums, cheeks, forehead, genital tract or eyes (herpes oculi). Genital herpes is a virus similar to herpes labialis, but slightly different. It is therefore rare for herpes labialis to cause genital herpes, and vice versa.

Other homeopathic remedies can be suggested depending on the nature and manifestation of the herpes. Psorinum is used to combatherpes, which tends to reappear every winter. Anagallis arvensis is also used to treat theeruption of vesicles in clusters, while Dulcamara, Kreosotum and Petroleum are used against vulvar affections. Facial and oral herpes, more common in children, are also treated with Silicea for lips, Natrum muriaticum 9 H for lips and anus, and Sulfur iodatum for lips and chin.
Local treatment may involve creams and liquid antiseptics, such asgrapefruit seed extract. Herpes circinis can be treated locally with antifungal creams, applied once or twice a day, taking care to spread enough of the cream beyond the borders of the lesion. It should be noted that homeopathic treatments generally complement the action of the usual essential oils and other antiviral creams.
The usual non-homeopathic treatment is based on Valaciclovir, a molecule found in zelitrex.

Your pharmacist's advice on treating herpes labialis :
- Herpes labialis is highly contagious once the blisters have burst. Transmission occurs through direct contact with the blisters or contaminated objects such as glasses, forks or towels.
- Do not kiss children during a herpes outbreak. You can dry the pimple with 70° alcohol, which destroys the virus, before applying an ointment.
