Docteur Valnet's organic niaouli essential oil is a 100% pure, natural oil designed to relieve the respiratory and urinary tracts.

What is Dr Valnet Niaouli Organic Essential Oil 10ml used for?

Niaouli essential oil has anti-infectious properties: it is antibacterial against Gram+ bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus beta-hemolyticus) and Gram- bacteria (Pseudomonas aeruginosa, often responsible for nosocomial infections, Mycobacterium sp). Docteur Valnet 's organic niaouli essential oil is a 100% pure, natural oil designed to soothe the respiratory and urinary tracts.

It is even more effective when combined with manuka essential oil. It is highly active as an antifungal, anticandidosis and antiviral agent. It is an anti-parasitic, febrifuge, expectorant, anti-inflammatory, venous decongestant and radioprotective essential oil. Niaouli Melaleuca viridiflora (myrtaceae family) is a tree that grows mainly in New Caledonia and Madagascar and is used for its disinfectant properties, mainly on the respiratory tract, but also on the urinary and digestive tracts. The natives of New Caledonia have always used it to purify water.

Niaouli essential oil, rich in 1.8 cineole, is recognized for its stimulating action on the exocrine glands of the respiratory mucosa. This property manifests itself in an increase in the activity of the cilia of the nasal mucosa and a notable bronchodilator effect. In the treatment of infectious colds, it is particularly effective thanks to its nasal decongestant action. However, it has no significant effect on allergic rhinitis. As an expectorant and mucolytic, Niaouli improves mucociliary clearance, helping to dry out respiratory mucosa and facilitate breathing.

This essential oil has a broad spectrum of antimicrobial action, proving effective against a variety of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including Listeria monocytogenes, Staphylococcus aureus, and Shigella flexneri. It also has a direct antiviral effect against the herpes virus and an antifungal action against Candida albicans. Its anti-infectious properties make it an excellent choice for the treatment of ENT, respiratory, lymphoganglionic and genitourinary infections. In addition, its antimicrobial activity, comparable to that of clotrimazole, is particularly useful in the treatment of bacterial vaginosis.

Theanti-inflammatory effect of 1,8 cineole, present in Niaouli essential oil, has been demonstrated in vitro on monocytes. This component significantly reduces mediators of the inflammatory reaction, such as arachidonic acid metabolites and pro-inflammatory cytokines, including TNF-α. Clinical trials in asthmatic patients have confirmed these properties, observing a reduction in pro-inflammatory mediators after treatment with 1,8 cineole. In addition, its cortison-like action stimulates the pituitary-cortical-adrenal axis, making Niaouli essential oil beneficial in the treatment of prolonged inflammatory states.

The 1,8 cineole in Niaouli oil also has an antispasmodic effect on the smooth muscles of the trachea. In addition, this essential oil offers immunomodulating, anti-catarrhal, radioprotective and estrogen-like properties. It is effective as a venous decongestant and as an insecticide against fleas and lice. Niaouli oil is even more effective when combined with manuka essential oil. It is also used as a febrifuge, skin absorption promoter and has gonadotropic properties, stimulating the pituitary-testicular and pituitary-adrenal axes. Finally, it has anti-angiogenic effects, notably against leukemia cells, and induces apoptosis.

We also offersweet orange essential oil from the specialist aromatherapy laboratory Dr Valnet, at the best price in our online pharmacy.
