Folic acid CCD 0.4mg is indicated to combat folic acid deficiencies that may occur during pregnancy.

What is Folic Acid CCD 0.4 mg used for?

It is very important to start treatment before conception. With this in mind, treatment can be started as soon as contraception is stopped, or as soon as the decision is made to have a child. Folic acid can be taken for long periods of time without any inconvenience.
Foods rich in folic acid include green vegetables, liver and kidneys.

  • Group B vitamin Folic acid deficiency
  • Pregnancy: prevention of embryonic neural tube defects.

For warnings, precautions for use and contraindications, please consult the instructions for use.

Folic Acid CCD 0.4 mg 30 Tablets contains folic acid (vitamin B9), essential for metabolism. Folic acid deficiency is responsible for certain forms of anemia. This vitamin has also been shown, when taken before and during early pregnancy, to help prevent serious abnormalities in the development of the embryo's nervous system.

It is used :

  • in expectant mothers, to prevent a rare malformation (spina bifida) in the unborn child;
  • in cases of folic acid deficiency

Vitamin B9, also known as folate (found naturally in food) or folic acid (synthesized in dietary supplements), is a water-soluble vitamin. It is involved in numerous bodily functions, most notably the production of genetic material (notably DNA), cell division, the formation of red blood cells, and the functioning of the nervous and immune systems. Essential for the production of new cells, it is therefore particularly important during pregnancy.

Spina bifida is defined by the absence of posterior closure of the bony canal (spinal column) in which the spinal cord is located. The cause is unknown, but there is a familial predisposition. Treatment depends on the severity of the disease. Prevention is based on taking folic acid before and at the start of pregnancy.

Folic acid plays a crucial role in the healthy development of the fetus during pregnancy. Acide Folique CCD 0.4mg is specially designed to combat the folic acid deficiencies that can occur during this critical period. By providing a precise dose of 0.4mg of folic acid, it helps protect your baby against the risk of neural tube birth defects and promotes healthy growth.

CCD Folic Acid 0.4mg is formulated according to strict quality and safety standards. It is recommended by health professionals for all women of childbearing age, especially those planning a pregnancy or who are pregnant. By taking Acide Folique CCD 0.4mg regularly, you can be confident that you're providing your baby with the essential nutrients he or she needs for healthy development.

We also recommend Ineldea Fertilia Grossesse 90 capsules, designed for pregnant women, rich in folic acid, omega-3, essential vitamins and minerals to promote a healthy pregnancy and optimal baby development.

How is folic acid best used?

1 tablet a day.
Mothers-to-be: treatment should be started at least 1 month before fertilization and continued 8 weeks afterwards.
