What is Thuasne Biflex 16 + light elastic compression bandage used for?

The bandages Biflex 16 + Thuasne are designed to meet a wide variety of clinical situations. This bandage offers two levels of force, depending on the covering: a force 1 compression and a force 2 compression .

The Thuasne Biflex 16 + bandage is recommended for the prevention and treatment of circulatory disorders and lymphedema of the limbs. This tape is suitable for use after varicose vein surgery or sclerotherapy. This band is useful in case of venous edema. It is also used with venous eczema, pigmentation , white atrophy, venous hypodermatitis and healed venous ulcer.

Markings are located on the Biflex 16 + band, which simplifies its installation and thus allows the control of the pressure exerted on the limbs. Its positioning is carried out by performing a simple winding. When the drawn rectangles of the strip turn into a square (elongation of 30%), this is an indication that it is correctly placed.
