What is LCA Patchouli Essential Oil 5 ml used for?

LCA Patchouli Essential Oil is used for:

  • Hemorrhoids
  • Heavy legs
  • Varicose veins Water retention, cellulite

Native to Indonesia and Malaysia, the fresh Patchouli plant has no scent. It is onlyafter a fermentation phase that the precursors of the different molecules (patchoulol...) give the leaves their scent, which is then used to obtain an essential oil or absolute. Patchouli has a powerful, woody, earthy and dry scent, with smoky, camphoraceous, liquorice and even musty accents . In Asia, it was traditionally used for its soothing, purifying and aphrodisiac virtues.

Patchouli essential oil has many virtues, including

  • Venous and lymphatic decongestant: contains components (sesquiterpenes and sesquiterpenols) that tone venous walls and activate blood and lymphatic circulation.
  • Anti-inflammatory: sesquiterpenes modulate the body's immune response to aggression, limiting redness and heat sensations resulting from inflammation.
  • Tonic and general stimulant: has a stimulating action on all the body's functions, helping to maintain a good general state of fitness.

Phlebotonic and lymphotonic

Patchouli essential oil is rich in sesquiterpenes and sesquiterpenols, giving it important phlebotonic and lymphotonic properties. These components tone venous walls, promoting blood and lymphatic circulation, and thus helping to reduce circulation problems such as varicose veins and heavy legs.

Anti-inflammatory

The sesquiterpenes present in Patchouli essential oil give it remarkable anti-inflammatory properties. It acts by modulating the body's immune response to aggression, thus limiting the redness and heat sensations resulting from inflammation. It is particularly effective in relieving joint and muscle pain.

Insect repellent

The patchoulol contained in Patchouli essential oil makes it a powerful insect repellent, particularly against mosquitoes. It also has anti-parasitic properties that can help combat moths and other parasites. This makes it an invaluable ally during periods when insects are particularly active.

General tonic and stimulant

Patchouli essential oil has a tonic and stimulating action on all the body's functions. It helps maintain general fitness by stimulating the immune system and strengthening the body's resistance to external aggression. It is therefore particularly useful during periods of fatigue or convalescence.

Healing

Patchouli essential oil's capacity for tissue regeneration makes it an excellent healing agent. It promotes skin tissue repair, prevents bacterial contamination of the area and inhibits inflammation to support the healing process. It is particularly recommended for wounds, cuts and burns.

Digestive tonic

Patchouli essential oil also has digestive tonic properties. It stimulates digestive functions, promoting normal stomach function and facilitating digestion. It can be useful for digestive problems such as bloating, nausea or gastrointestinal disorders.

The aromatherapy laboratory LCA also offerspetit grain bigarade essential oil at the best price in our online pharmacy.

Directions for use and dosage

Varicose veins, heavy legs

Cutaneous use: 3 drops in 3 drops of vegetable oil, to be massaged into the legs from bottom to top, 3 times a day.

Diffusion:

The scent of Patchouli essential oil when diffused can become heady. That's why we recommend diluting it with other essential oils, such as Ylang Ylang essential oil, with which it will blend subtly to create an enchanting fragrance.
