  • Respiratory and ENT conditions: bronchitis, hacking cough Physical and nervous fatigue

Ravintsara is the essential oil extracted from the Camphor tree (Cinnamomum camphora) in Madagascar. Native to Asia, this tree of the Lauraceae family produces several very different essential oils, depending on geographical origin and the part distilled. In Madagascar, camphor trees have acclimatized to give a very different chemotype. They produce a very mild, camphor-free essential oil, Ravintsara or Ravintsare, renowned for its high 1,8-cineole content, obtained this time by distilling the leaves.

The distinctive aroma of Ravintsara essential oil is reminiscent of eucalyptus. It is a powerful immune system stimulant and one of the most powerful anti-viral essential oils. It has a wide range of applications. Organic Ravintsara essential oil has many virtues, including the following:

  • Antiviral (1,8-cineole and alpha terpineol): this is the antiviral essential oil par excellence... the most effective and safest for all ages! It is both anti-infectious and antibiotic, limiting the risk of superinfection.
  • Immunostimulant (monoterpene alcohols): stimulates the immune response
  • Broad-spectrum antibacterial (1,8-cineole, carbides and monoterpene alcohols): antibacterial and anti-mycobacterial.
  • Expectorant (1,8-cineole): facilitates expulsion of bronchial congestion through coughing.

Ravintsara essential oil is a powerful immune stimulant, ideal for boosting the body's natural defenses. By stimulating the production of white blood cells, it helps fight viral and bacterial infections, helping to prevent disease and maintain optimal health. Thanks to its antiviral properties, Ravintsara essential oil is effective against a variety of viral infections such as flu, colds, herpes and respiratory infections. Inhaled or diffused, it helps destroy viruses and relieve symptoms associated with these conditions.

Ravintsara essential oil is also beneficial for relieving respiratory disorders such as nasal congestion, coughs and respiratory tract infections. Thanks to its expectorant and decongestant properties, it helps to clear the airways, ease breathing and relieve the discomfort associated with respiratory ailments.
