Many people carry dental appliances. Today's prostheses are getting closer and closer to reality in terms of aesthetics and comfort. They are now very realistic and give the impression of natural teeth ... and to keep your best smile, it is important to take care!
When the remaining gums, prostheses and teeth are not well cleaned, bacteria accumulate at the edge of the gums and can solidify on the teeth as tartar. Tartar contributes to bad breath, cavities, gum disease and the loss of other teeth.
Rinse your dental prosthesis (preferably with warm, clean water) and brush with a toothbrush. Then immerse it in a cleaning solution to keep the prosthesis white and prevent the accumulation of bacteria.
Finally, keep your dental prosthesis moist when you do not wear it because it may lose its shape when drying. If it has metal parts, consult your dentist for specific maintenance tips.
